The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Wednesday, October 17, 1956


Delbert Lee White, 30, died Tuesday at his home at route 1, Sidney.  He was 
born November 19, 1925 at Lyons the son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank White.  Until a 
year ago he was employed at the Ionia Manufacturing Co.

He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Susan White, route 3; three sisters of 
Ionia, Mrs. Flossie Donnelly, Mrs. Edith Scarbrough, Mrs. Robert Shattuck; five 
brothers, LeRoy, Elmer and Lawrence of Ionia, Frank of Portland, and Claude in 
the United States Army stationed at Ft. Lewis, Wash.

Funeral services will be held from the Myers funeral home, Friday at 2 p.m. 
with the Rev. J. L. Ward officiating.  Interment will be in Highland Park 
cemetery.
