Ionia Daily Sentinel Standard, 18 Feb 1949

Services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Fitzjohn funeral home
in Belding for Mrs. Abigail White, 79, who died at the home of her daughter,
Mrs. Lawrence Holliday in South Ionia Thursday morning.

Mrs. White was born in Gratiot county November 19, 1869 and had lived in Belding
for 25 years.  She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist church.

Surviving her are two daughters, Mrs. Holiday and Mrs. Bernice Aswell of Grand
Rapids; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Mrs. White was the widow of Fred White.

[Transcriber’s note:  There’s a notation on the obituary card that she was
buried in River Ridge Cemetery.]
