White, 82, who died suddenly Wednesday morning at his home on Summit Street, will be held Friday, July 24, from the Stone funeral home at 2 p.m. Rev. C.A. Brady of the Church of Christ will officiate and burial will be in Tuttle cemetery. Mr. White was born in Orange township, the son of Mr. and Mrs. John a. White and was the third child in a family of seven. September 29, 1886, he was married to Florence Williams, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edwin R. Williams. They made their home in Orange and later moved to Ronald township. In 1903 they moved to Ionia where for many years he was in the farm implement business with Dwight Brooks. Surviving are the wife, a daughter, Fern, a teacher of Cincinnati, Ohio, two sons, Leo G. White of Battle Creek and Edwin R. White of Ionia; two grandchildren, Arthur H. White and Hugh E. White; a sister, Mrs. Al Perry, 90, who lives in Bangor; two brothers, Jack White of Los Angeles, California and Frank White of Ionia.
