Lake Odessa Wave - March 17, 1949
           MRS. EDITH MAY WHITE DIED SUNDAY MORNING

   Mrs. Edith May White died at her home in Ionia Sunday morning at 9 a.m. after a
lengthy illness.

   She was born June 5, 1886 in Campbell township Ionia county.  She was the
daughter of Mrs. and Mrs. 
Frederick Roloff on May 16 1905 she was married to Claude White and they lived in
Campbell township until 
1928 when they moved to Ionia.

   She is survived by her husband and children Gallen, Gerald, Richard, Mrs. Durwood
Thorpe. Mrs. Richard 
Erridge, all of Ionia and Mrs. Donald Bronson of Holly and Mrs. Lester Dadd of
Lansing and eleven 
grandchildren, one brother Wm. Roloff of Lansing.

   Funeral services were held Wednesday at 2:30 p.m.at the Stone-Kauffman Funeral
Home in Ionia.  Interment 
was at Lakeside cemetery.
