Ionia Shopper' Guide - Sat. January 22, 2022

WHITE
Gaye L. White, age 67 of Carson City passed away January 18, 2022. She was born 
September 19, 1954 in Ionia the daughter of Thomas J. and Dora  J. (Gladding) 
White.

Gaye worked at General Motors for several years and then worked for Lear 
Corporation until retiring. She had  a love for horses and started breaking them 
at the young age of 12. Gaye operated her own horse ranches Diamond K. Arabians 
and High Hopes Training Center both in Carson City where she would breed and 
train.

Surviving are her children; Tommy (Jennifer) Witzel of Muir, Petter Witzel of 
Carson City and Ellen Arden (Tyler Brune) of Georgia. Grandchildren; Hollie 
(Jeffrey)Barnes, Wyatt Witzel, Cole Witzel, Logan Witzel, Ella Witzel, Blake 
Lazarus and Ashton Lazarus. Great grandson Hunter Tulppo. Brother Bo Anthony of 
Florida. Nephew Burt White. Longtime special friends Deanna (Gary) Salters of 
Maple Rapids.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services for Gayle will be at the North Plains Church, 3965 Olmstead 
Rd.,Ionia, MI 48846 on Monday, January 24, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. Greg Gladding 
officiating. Interment in the spring at North Plains Cemetery. There will be 
visiting hours at the Lake Funeral Home in Ionia on Sunday 1-3 and 6-8 p.m.
