Excerpts from Ionia Obituary

JODY WHITE

Died Thursday February 5, 2026-age 64 of Ionia formerly of Saranac, MI.
Born March 22, 1961 in Ionia, daughter of Ned & Helen (Baker) White.
Graduate of Saranac High School in the Class of 1979, where she was a member of 
the Marching Band.
Jody was involved with 4-H in her younger years.
She worked as an LPN Butterworth & later worked for the Ionia Commission on 
Aging where she retired in 2010.
Jody & her Mother Helen were members of the Saranac Community Church.
Survived by her sister, Susan (Philip) Gillespie of Hastings. half-brother Allen 
White & seven step-siblings, 4 nieces & 4 great nieces & nephews.
Preceded in death by her parents; Ned White & Helen & Don Mitchell & brother, 
Steven Mitchell.
Funeral services will be held at the Saranac Community church on Thursday, 
February 12 at 1:00 PM with Pastor Ethan Tews officiating.
Visitation will be on Thursday, from 11 -1 at the Church prior to services.
