Mrs. Clara Faith White, 64, died Sunday, November 11, at the University 
hospital, Ann Arbor, after being a surgical patient for four weeks.

She was born January 13, 1887, in Mt. Pleasant.  She had been a resident of 
Lake Odessa for 13 years.

She leaves five daughters, Mrs. M. E. Bowen of Lawrence, Mrs. Howard Speas of 
Youngsville, Pa., Mrs. Francis Ross of Walsh, Colo., and Mrs. Joseph Speas and 
Mrs. Ivan Courtney of Lake Odessa; one sister, Mrs. Ed Kirker of Holt; and four 
brothers, Glen Hendee of Woodland, Leon of Grand Rapids, Hal of Portland and 
Merle of Comstock Park.

The body reposes at Pickens funeral chapel in Lake Odessa until Wednesday noon 
when it will be removed to the Calvary U.B. church where funeral services will 
be conducted at 2 p.m. by the Rev. M. H. Dawson.  Burial will be in Portland 
cemetery.
