He is survived by his wife, the former Suzanne Dalzell. White, who is 48, was killed when the truck he was driving rolled over near Ypsilanti. MILO BURIER WHITE Funeral services for Milo Burier White, accidently killed near Ypsilanti Thursday morning, were held Sunday from the North Plains church with Rev. Paul Stewart of Ionia officiating. prayer was offered by Rollin Severance of Saginaw, state president of the Gideon society and a cousin of the decease. Mrs. Merritt Greenhoe and Mrs. Melvin Burtraw, accompanied at the piano by Beatrice Anderson Smith, sang, "The Old Rugged Cross" and "Someday We'll Understand". The extra music at the beginning and ending of the service was also furnished by Mrs. Smith. The Masonic order conducted the ritual at the grave, having marched thence accompanied by the ladies of the Eastern Star, who carried the floral pieces of which there were many. A splendid tribute to the esteem to which Mr. White was held in this community was witnessed by the many friends in attendance. Besides these, the friends and relatives from away were Mr. and Mrs. Douglas White of Flint, W. H. White, sr., of Northville, W. H. White, jr., of Farmington, Mrs. Mae White and family of Northville, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Morse and family of Northville, Mr. and Mrs. Lester Stage of Northville, Mr. and Mrs. L. D. Stage of Grand Rapids, George White of Grand Rapids, Mrs. Del Burrier of Fowlerville, Mr. and Mr. Howard White of Perry, Mr. and Mrs. Evert White of Williamston, Mr. and Mrs. Homer White of Williamston, Rollin Severance of Saginaw, Mrs. Anna Taylor of Northville, Rev. Roy Ford of Jackson, Mrs. Nina Trombley and son, John, of Farmington, Mr. and Mrs. Frazer of Detroit, Mrs. Joseph Areta of Mishawaka, Ind., Mr. and Mrs. Doane Lung of Mishawaka, Ind., Mr. and Mrs. George Urtel and Ann of Alma, Donald O. Cross of Alma, Mrs. Emma Charles, Mrs. Lura Dalzell and Mrs. Edith Seeley of Ionia, Mr. and Mrs. John King of South Ionia and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Townsend of Durand. Mr. Frazer, transportation department head for the Kroger firm, had with him photographic copies taken at the actual scene of the accident, which combined with the pictures of the wrecked truck, proved conclusively that the right rear tire blew out pulling the car off the road into a ditch from which it was catapulted onto the pavement, pinning Mr. White beneath. This dispels the theory advanced by those who arrived on the scene before daylight that the driver had gone to sleep. This first idea did not seem probable, for Mr. White had driven long distances, and trucked for years and never in this time had met with even a minor accident.
