The Ionia County News, Thursday, May 28, 1936


Funeral services were held for Mrs. Charles White, Sunday afternoon at the 
home, northeast of town.  Mrs. White was formerly Miss Madge Stoddard and has 
lived all her life in this vicinity.  She had been a great sufferer for many 
months.

She is survived by four sons and a daughter by a previous marriage to Roscoe 
Higbee and another daughter of her second marriage to Charles White.  The 
writer has been unable to learn if her brother, sister and father were 
located.  

Rev. Whittemore officiated at the services and interment made in East Plains.

Note:  There is a handwritten notation on the obituary stating interment was 
Lyons Cemetery.
