Ionia Sentinel-Standard - Wed. Sept. 12, 2012

Thomas W. Whitelock, 53, of Ionia, passed away Sept. 10, 2012. He was born Oct. 
1, 1958 in Ionia, the son of George and Phyllis (Erridge) Whitelock. He married 
Diana Bartosh Nov. 1, 1980 a Easton Church. Thomas worked at Electrolux for 28 
years. He was an avid fisherman.

Thomas is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Diana Whitelock of Ionia; 
children, Stacy (Josh) McKinch of Saranac, Stephanie Whitelock of Ionia, and 
Ryan Whitelock of Ionia; grandchildren, Kalli, Alyssa, Bryn and Zailee; his 
mother, Phyllis Whitelock of Ionia; mother-in-law, Mayeillieen Bartosh of 
Saranac; sisters, Lee Ann (Jim) Aikens of Orleans, and Sue (Randy) McCoy of 
Ionia; brothers-in-law Larry (Monique) Bartosh of Lyons, David Bartosh of 
Saranac, Dale (Joan) Bartosh of Saranac; sister-in-law Darlene (Terry) Roberts 
of Houghton Lake and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, George, and father-in-law, Robert 
Bartosh.

Funeral services will be held Friday 11 a.m. at First United Methodist Church 
with Pastor Larry Brown officiating. The family will receive friends and 
relatives Thursday 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at Lake Funeral Home in Ionia.
