The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Saturday, May 4, 1957


William Joseph Whitelock, 55, of 927 Hackett street, Ionia, died Saturday 
morning at the Ionia County Memorial Hospital.

He was born in Ionia, May 26, 1901 and was a son of Mr. and Mrs. William 
Whitelock.  He was married in 1920 to the former Bess Wilcox and was employed 
at the Ionia Mfg. Co.  He was a member of SS Peter and Paul Catholic church.

Surviving are two brothers, John of Long Lake and George of Saranac.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday morning at 9 o’clock at SS Peter and 
Paul church, and Rosary will be said at Myers funeral home Sunday afternoon at 
2 o’clock.  Interment will be in Mt. Olivet cemetery.
