Belding Banner-News, 11 Mar 1937

Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the Fales funeral home for Perry
Whitford who died Sunday at his home near Orleans.  Mr. Whitford was a long time
resident of Orleans township and at the time of his death was nearly 76 years of
age.  Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Alta Clingensmith and Mrs. Wesley
Shippee, both of this city; a son, L.J., of Lansing, and several grandchildren.
 Rev. H.S. Ellis of Greenville officiated at the services and burial was in
Greene cemetery.
