The Ionia County News, Thursday, February 5, 1931


Mrs. Verna M. Whitford, 44, of Battle Creek, who has taken ill while visiting 
friends here, died last night in the Community hospital of acute 
perinephritis.  The body will be sent to Battle Creek today and funeral 
services held there tomorrow.

The services will be at 2 p.m.  Burial will be in the Battle Creek Cemetery. 

A husband, Walter F. Whitford, survives.
