John M. Whiting, 75, died Sunday morning about 9:30 o'clock.

He was born in Ionia township August 29, 1871, the son of Mr. and Mrs. James 
Whiting, of Ionia township.

Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Ralph Smith of Ionia and Mrs. Erma Dickerson of 
Columbus, Ohio.

Funeral services sill be held Tuesday, November 19, at 2 p.m. from the Stone funeral

home. The Rev. Wayne Davis will officiate at the service and interment will be at 
Highland Park cemetery.
