Ionia Daily Sentinel Standard, 15 Feb 1962

Kenneth Emanuel Whitman, 42, died suddenly about 6:45 p.m. Wednesday at his home
which he shared with his sister, Mrs. Eva Handcock on Elizabeth street in Lyons.
 He was born August 12, 1919 at Butternut, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Mannie
Whitman.  For the past five years he had lived at Lyons and was employed at Ivan
Clark Manufacturing company.  Mr. Whitman was a member of Moose lodge of Ionia.

He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Handcock and Mrs. Donald Shoen both of Lyons.

Funeral service will be conducted Saturday at 2 p.m. at Shaw Rivett funeral home
in Muir.  The Rev. Williams Reynders of Lyons Methodist church, will officiate.

buried in Lyons Cemetery.]
