WHITMORE, WILLIAM D.:
   IONIA DAILY STANDARD, MI, 11-21-1902:  "William Whitmore of Berlin, 82 years
of age, died at noon today after a sickness of less than one week.
   He had been a resident of Berlin for 22 years, coming there from Ohio.
   His wife died eight years ago, and he has since made his home with his son,
Elias.
   He leaves two other children, Mrs. Emeline Whitmore of Grand Rapids and
Nelson of Lyons.
   Funeral will be 1:00 p.m. Monday at the Weslyan Church."
