Sentinel Standard – Thursday, 2 May 1940
Funeral services for 70 year old Nellie J. Whitney will be held from the Stone 
funeral home Saturday, May 4 at 2 o’clock in the afternoon.  Rev. Clarence A. 
Brady will officiate and interment will be held in North Plains cemetery.

Miss Whitney died Wednesday morning at the Convalescent home, 643 West Main 
Street.
