Veteran of U.S. Air Force (1st Lieutenant) WWII

Preceded in death by his son, James L Whitney; his parents, Leroy and Gladys 
Whitney; brother Ralph and sister Janice.

Survived by his wife; two sons, a daughter-in-law and several grandchildren; 
his brother and sister
