The funeral was held Tuesday as the Tamarac church at one o'clock conducted by Elder Mourer and burial was made in the Fuller cemetery. The deceased was a sister of Oliver Cheney of this place also of Mrs.Sam Campbell south west of town and of Mrs. Newland Raymond of Carlton and Albert Cheney of Yankee Springs. Her early home was in Carlton. The remains were accompanied by two daughters and a son-in-law. Betsey Jane Cheney was born February 26th 1850 in Calhoun county and died May 31,1908, age 58 years 3 months and two days. She leaves two daughters, Mrs.Pheney George of Richfield, Ill, and Mrs.Jennie Piper of Chicago, along with other friends to mourn her departure.
