Mrs. Cora A. Whittemore, 77, died Friday morning at 3 o’clock at Pennock 
hospital in Hastings where she had been a patient the past 19 days.  She was 
born September 17, 1877, near St. Charles, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John 
Kellogg.  She had been a resident of Lake Odessa for 15 years, since her 
marriage to Ira Whittemore.  Her death occurred on her wedding anniversary.

Surviving are her husband, Ira; one daughter, Mrs. Theresa Headford of Fort 
Wayne, Ind.; two sisters, Mrs. Flora Underhill of Williamston and Mrs. Eliza 
Hubbell of Brant; three brothers, Mike Kelly of Paradise, Calif., and William 
and Charles Kellogg of St. Charles.

She reposes at the Pickens funeral home where services will be held Monday 
afternoon at 2 o’clock.  Burial will be at Lakeside cemetery.
