Ionia Sentinel, 5 Sep 1950

Funeral services for Mrs. Hazel Whorley, wife of Supervisor Royce Whorley, who 
died Thursday morning in Ann Arbor, were held Monday at 2:30 p.m. at the Stone-
Kauffman funeral home.  Dr. Howard A. Smith, pastor of the First Methodist 
church, officiated.  Interment was in Easton cemetery.  Bearers were August 
Gott, Limen? Braman, Chauncey Braman, Elton Braman, Royce Braman and John D. 
Horrocks.  Miss Shelda Buck was in charge of the flowers.

Out-of-town relatives attending the services were John Whorley and Miss Joyce 
Whorley of Lansing; Miss Alice Loomis, Mr. and Mrs. Davis Anselmeno, Mr. and 
Mrs. Al Shank, and Mr. and Mrs. Lester Looman of Flint; Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Coil 
of Vanderbilt; Mrs. Marjorie Rachafsky of New York City; Mr. and Mrs. Willis 
Whorley and sons of Bronson; Mr. and Mrs. Claude Whorley of Big Rapids.
