Whorley, aged 51 years, died at his home on North Third St., Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, Sunday, Jan. 19, 1913, at 8:30 p.m., from paralysis. Mr. Whorley had been in poor health for several years. He was born in New York state but had lived near Ionia from his boyhood until after he was married, then he moved to Grand Rapids and lived there about six years and from there to Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, where he lived the past eighteen years. He is survived by his wife, Clara, and one son, an electrician, employed by the Akron People’s Telephone Co., and one daughter, employed in the Northern Ohio Traction and Light Co. offices at Akron, Ohio. Funeral services were held at the home Wednesday afternoon at 2 p.m., Rev. H. H. Tilock, pastor of the Church of Christ, officiating. Interment was made in the Stow cemetery. Out of town relatives were Henry Whorley, William Whorley, Royce Whorley, Ionia, Mich., John Lyle, Niagara Falls, N.Y., and Andrew A. Stevenson, Grand Rapids, Mich.
