Ionia Sentinel Standard, 9 Nov 1984

Wilma Mae Whorley, 58, of 3354 Dake Road, Ionia, died Wednesday at Butterworth
Hospital, Grand Rapids.  She was born March 30, 1926, the daughter of Albert and
Minnie Urie Bennett.  She attended Galilee Baptist Church.  She married Hubert
Whorley in Ionia, May 8, 1943.

Surviving are her husband; her mother, Minnie Neilsen of Ionia; two daughters,
Mrs. Michael (Marie) Miller of Indiana, and Mrs. Keith (Susan) Ingraham of
Saranac; two sons, Herbert Whorley of Saranac, and Joseph Whorley of Ionia; two
brothers, James Bennett of Ionia and Otis Bennet of Orleans; four sisters, Mrs.
Hazel Hart of Hastings, Mrs. Arthur Matthews of Ionia, Mrs. Donald (Joan)
Melchert of Muir, and Nancy Helms of Orleans.

Services will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Galilee Baptist church with the Revs.
James Frank and Keith McIver officiating.  Interment will be in Easton Cemetery.
 The family will be at Galilee Baptist Church from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Friday.  A
memorial has been established for Galilee Baptist Church, in care of Lake
Funeral Home, Saranac.
