Ionia Standard - Friday, Sept. 15, 1916

Mrs. Diana Whorley, wife of Oscar Whorley,died at her home in Easton township Sunday

afternoon at the age of 61 years. She leaves, besides her husband, two sons, Charles

and Will Whorley. The family lived for many years in the city, near the west end of

high street, moving from there about ten years ago. The funeral was held from the 
residence at 2;00 o'clock standard time. Wednesday afternoon, Rev. R. B. Chapman 
officiating. The burial will be in Highland Park.

The funeral for Mrs. Oscar Whorley was conducted by Rev. R. B. Chapman at the home 
this afternoon, Mrs. Eugene Smith and Mrs. John Hodgkins, Jr., furnishing the music.

The bearers were W.F. Marquette, Otto Michelson, Henry Hamilton and Homer Adgate. 
Burial was in Highland Park.
