Julia Lorena Whorley passed away August 15, 2006. Julia was born August 12, 
1914 in Sebewa Township, the fifth daughter of James Franklin and Florence 
Franks Cassel. On February 12, 1935 she married L. Carlton Whorley who 
preceded her in death in May, 1970. 

Julia is survived by two sons, William C. and Karen Whorley; James T. and Judy 
Whorley; daughter, Alice Yvonne Whorley; nine grand children; thirteen great 
grandchildren; niece, Mary Margaret and Doug Pearl; Nephew, Donald and Marie 
Knisley. Special friend, Fred McCord.

Committal was at Easton Cemetery.  All are welcome to a memorial service 
celebrating Julia's life on September 9, 2006 at 11 :00 AM at the Easton 
Methodist Church. Memorial contributions may be made to The Hunting & Fishing 
Club Scholarship Fund or the Hall Fowler Memorial Library Fund in care of Lake 
Funeral Home, 158 Mill St. Saranac, Michigan 48881.
