Lois M. Whorley, age 86, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2004. She was born 
on March 8, 1918 in Easton Township, the daughter of John Heinrich and Alberta 
(Priest) Waidelich. Mrs. Whorley was a homemaker and gardener, and she enjoyed 
crocheting and crafts. Lois was happy as long as she had the comforts of life.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Archibald Crosthwait 
Whorley. Surviving are her daughter, Linda Herland of North Dakota; four 
grandchildren, Sarah, Ida, Emma and Ole Herland; one great-grandson.

The graveside service will be conducted by the Rev. Darren Tharp, pastor of 
Lincoln Avenue Baptist Church of Ionia at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 20, at the 
Easton Township Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to the Schrauben-Lehman 
Funeral Home, Ionia.
