Sentinel-Standard - Monday, Nov. 18, 1946

Mrs. Minnie Whitney, formerly of Belding, who has been living with her sister, Mrs.

William Carr, in Grand Rapids, died at St. Mary's hospital Friday. She had been in
the 
hospital several weeks with a broken ankle and hip.

Funeral services were held Monday afternoon in Sparta and graveside services were
held 
at the River Ridge cemetery in Belding.
