                                MARIAN D. WHYMER

Marian Dorothy Whymer, 70, of 667 Union Street, died Saturday morning at Kent 
Community Hospital in Grand Rapids.

She was born March 5, 1906 in Flint, the daughter of Mr and Mrs Patrick Smith.

She married John A Whymer September 18, 1925 at St.Michael's Church in Flint. He 
preceded her in death October 30, 1976. A brother also preceded her in death.

Mrs. Whymer had been a resident of Ionia since 1924 and was a member of SS.Peter 
& Paul Catholic Church and the Altar Society.

Survivors include one son, Robert of Grand Rapids; two daughters, Mrs.Ben 
(Patricia) Millard and Mrs John (Rosemarie)Miller, both of Ionia, one brother, 
Raymond Smith of South Carolina, 15 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral Mass is Monday at 10 a.m. at Ss.Peter & Paul church with Father Edward 
Orlowski officiating.

Burial is in Mt.Olivet Cemetery.

Rosary will be recited Sunday at 7:30 p.m. at the Myers-Roetman Funeral Home.

A Memorial fund is established for the American Cancer society.
