Ionia Sentinel-Standard - July 28, 2012

Roger D. Wickerham, 85, of Ionia, went to be with his Lord on July 26, 2012. He 
was born Sept. 5, 1926 in Ionia, the son of Clarence and Alice (Mitchell) 
Wickerham.

Roger married Shirley Holcomb July 3, 1949 in Stanton. He was a member of 
Lincoln Avenue Baptist Church.

He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Shirley Wickerham of Ionia; 
children, Terita (Mike) Green of Mt. Pleasant, April (Jim) Stuart of Ionia, Don 
Wickerham of Ionia and Judy (David) Dixon of Ohio; four grandchildren, Mathew, 
Roger, Keri and Jennifer; nine great grandchildren; and brother, Arnold 
Wickerham of Arizona.

Roger was preceded in death by his brother, Richard.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, 11 a.m. at Lincoln Avenue Baptist Church 
with Pastor Jeff Smith officiating. Interment Balcom Cemetery. The family will 
receive friends and relatives Monday 4 to 7 p.m. at Lake Funeral Home in Ionia.
