Funeral services for Mrs. Catherine M. Wicks, 89, who died at her home east of 
Pewamo Thursday morning, at 11 o’clock will be held Sunday afternoon at 1:30 
o’clock at the home with Rev. Wilson of Lyons conducting the services.  Burial 
will be at the Lyons cemetery.

She was born May 25, 1848, in New York and was married to Simeon Wicks in 1869 
who preceded her in death.  She came to Michigan the same year and settled east 
of Pewamo.

She leaves a son, Caleb, a sister, Mrs. Maude Plummer of Pewamo and a brother, 
Francis Shumway of Pewamo.
