The Ionia County News, Friday, June 24, 1927

Mrs. Grace Wicks, 58, prominent resident and business woman of Belding passed 
away on Tuesday morning at a hospital in Plainwell, following a lingering 
illness of cancer.  She was the widow of M. J. Wicks of the Wicks-Fales 
company, who died two years ago.

The funeral was held on Thursday morning from the Fales Funeral home, with 
Rev. Floyd G. Dunbar, pastor of the Methodist church, in charge.  Bruce Fales 
was the officiating undertaker, and interment was made in the family lot in a 
Kalamazoo cemetery. 

She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star and the White Shire on of 
Jerusalem.
