ERVING S.WICKS

LAKE ODESSA-Erving S. Wicks, 89, of 1110 Lakeview Drive, Lake Odessa, died 
Saturday at Thornapple Manor, Hastings.

Born Aug. 19, 1902, in Greenville, the son of J.N. and Myrtle Wicks. He lived in 
the Lansing area before moving to Lake Odessa in 1950.

Surviving is a daughter, Patricia Jack of Hollywood, Fla.; two granddaughters, 
Mrs.Charles (Jill) VanDeVelde of Lake Odessa, Pam Tingley of Texas; three 
grandsons, Tom Swift of Grand Rapids, and Bob Tingley and Kelly Walkington, both 
of Lake Odessa; and three sisters, Helen Nichols of Bath, Irma Taylor of 
Williamston and Charlotte Abfalter of Lansing.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Beulah; and four brothers, Lewis, Bill, 
Carl and Jim.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m., at Koops Funeral Chapel, Lake 
Odessa, the Rev. James Bozung officiating.

Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery.

Memorials are recommended to charity of choice.

The family will be at the funeral chapel Monday from 7 to 9 p.m.
