John James Wieczorek, age 70, of Ionia, passed away January 2, 2005, at his 
home.  He was born Nov. 17, 1934, in Ionia, the son of John J. and Hazel 
(Pierce) Wieczorek.  John was a member of SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 
Moose Lodge of Ionia, and the Ionia American Legion.  He was an avid golfer and 
bowler.

John is survived by his loving wife, Joanne Wieczorek of Ionia; daughters, 
Brenda Wieczorek of Ionia, Tracy (Brock) Roth of Ionia; sisters, Esther Ralph 
of Ionia, Marion (James) Voelker of Ludington, and Joyce Loughlin of Lansing.

He was preceded in death by his brothers Harold and Russell and one sister 
Jeanne.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Lake Funeral Home in 
Ionia with Father Melvin Fox celebrant.  Interment Mt. Olivet Cemetery.  The 
family will receive friends and relatives Tuesday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the 
funeral home.  Anyone wishing may make a memorial contribution to Ionia Area 
Hospice or the American Lung Association.
