Betty Lou Wieczorek, age 80, passed away on Tuesday, March 13, 2007. She was 
born in Portland on February 22, 1927 the daughter of Vern and Clara (Davis) 
Wheeler. 

Betty was a member of Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Ionia. She was 
involved in Girl Scouts as a Troop Leader and the V.F.W. as Past President of 
the Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed meeting with the Tuesday morning ceramics 
group and loved being with her friends and being on the go. 

Betty is preceded in death by her husband Michael, and sisters Bertha Moore 
(identical twin), Helen Campbell, and Alice Stolicker. She is survived by her 
children Gerald Wieczorek of Ionia, Kathy Wieczorek of Ionia, and Julie 
(Terry) McCoy of Ionia, grandchildren Aaron (Jennifer) Wieczorek, Julie 
Wieczorek-Allen, and Abby McCoy, 6 great-grandchildren, nephews Butch (Pat) 
Stolicker and Stanley Campbell, nieces Mary (Doug) Heiden, Judy Ziegler, and 
Sue Stolicker. 

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Melvin Fox at 11:00 a.m. 
on Monday, March 19, 2007 at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Ionia. The 
family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Sunday at the Schrauben-Lehman 
Funeral Home, 220 Rich St., Ionia. Contributions may be made to Ionia County 
Commission on Aging in Betty's name.
