MAY WIGFIELD
SARANAC - May Wigfield, 87, of 62 Parsonage, died Wednesday afternoon in Cherry
Creek nursing home in Lowell.

She was born in Caledonia May 31, 1890, the daughter of John and Emma Kraft Studt.

She married Albert Wigfield in 1910 in Clarksville and he preceded her in death in
1965.

The Wigfields owned and operated Wigfield farm on Darby road most of their lives.

Survivors include two sons, Thaddeus of Saranac and Wade of Battle Creek; three 
daughters, Esta Burns of Easton  Rapids, Veneta Terrell of Saranac and Lola May
Bartlett of Comstock Park, 17 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren, and one
great-great-grandchild.

Funeral services and committal will be Saturday at 1:30 pm from the Roetman-Lake
funeral home with Rev. Edwin Mendenhall of Saranac Community church officiating.

Burial is in Saranac cemetery.

The family will receive friends and relatives at the funeral home Thursday and
Friday 2 to 4 and  7 to 8:30 pm.
