The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Wednesday, October 28, 1970

Elwood M. Wiggins, 45, of 208 West Benton, Greenville, died early Wednesday 
morning at his home of an extended illness.  Mr. Wiggins had been a victim of 
multiple sclerosis since June 1943 and was active until April of 1954.

Born in Otisco township August 21, 1925, he was the son of Charles and Maude 
Wiggins.  He was a former resident of Belding and Ionia and a member of 
Belding Church of God.  He was married in 1967 to Edith Cisco Kennedy.

Surviving besides his wife are a stepson, Chester Cisco of Tennessee; mother, 
Mrs. Maude C. Wiggins of Belding; two sisters, Mrs. Robert Guild and Mrs. 
Grandville Phenix of Belding.

Funeral services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Marshall funeral home in 
Greenville.  Rev. Arnold R. Cromlish will officiate and interment will be at 
Easton cemetery.  Family will be at the funeral home Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m.
