Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at Huffman Funeral Home for Arthur 
Irvin Wightman, 87, of 615 Harrison Street.  Graveside services were held 
Monday afternoon at Thompsonville.  Rev. Robert Lilly officiated.

Mr. Wightman was born May 23, 1881 at New Era, the son of James H. and Clara 
(Gray) Wightman.  He died October 30 at United Memorial hospital, Greenville.  
He was married to Verna Mixter in 1910.  She preceded him in death in 1966.

A retired grocer and meat retailer, Mr. Wightman was a life member of 
Thompsonville Masonic and Odd Fellow Lodges and Belding First Baptist church.  

He is survived by a sister Mrs. Gale (Hazel) Menold of Detroit.
