Ionia Daily Sentinel, 12 Apr 1918

Hardy Wilbur was born July 19, 1855, in Lawrenceville, St. Lawrence county, New 
York, coming to Michigan and Ionia county in 1872, which has since been his 
home, mostly in Orleans and Ronald townships.  July 3, 1874, he was married to 
Mary E. Edmonds of Orleans township.  To this union was born four children, 
Ella M., Myrtle L., Bessie A., and Murray H., all living and all of whom were 
with him to assist and comfort him during his last moments.  Besides the family 
he leaves two sisters and ten grandchildren.

Last October he moved from the farm in Ronald which he was compelled to give up 
on account of failing health to the village of Orleans, where he passed away 
April 2, aged 63 years.
