The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Saturday, August 20, 1955

Word was received in Ionia Saturday morning of the unexpected death of Mrs. 
Joan Delia Wilbur, 38, at the General Hospital in Pontiac.  She died at 3:25 
p.m. Friday.  Mrs. Wilbur was born in Ionia, July 1, 1917, the daughter of Mr. 
and Mrs. Charles McKee.  She has been residing in Pontiac for the past ten 
years.

Besides her husband, Lester C. Wilbur of 30 Pingree street, Pontiac, she is 
survived by five children, Pamela Sue, Catherine , Patricia Ann, Michael John 
and Patrick James; and one sister, Mrs. Mary White of Ionia.

Rosary will be said at 8 p.m. Monday at Voorhees-Sible funeral home at 268 
North Perry street, Pontiac.  Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 9 a.m. 
at the St. Michael church in Pontiac.  Burial will be in Mt. Hope cemetery, 
Pontiac.
