Wilbur Dies in Hospital. Harry Vernon Wilbur, 64, passed away at Butterworth hospital in Grand Rapids, Wednesday night June 26. He had been a patient there for the last five weeks. Formerly a resident of this city, he had lived on R. 2, Greenville for the last 20 years. He was born January 31, 1891 at Wacousta and married Flossie Mildred Hinkle in Lansing in 1920. He was a veteran of World War I and a member of V.F.W. His usual occupation was an assembler at Ranney Refrigerator Company and Greenville where he had been employed for the last 10 years. He is survived by his wife and six sons and six daughters; Melvin of R. 2 Greenville and Leon, Archie, Gerald, Murl and Arthur of Erie, Pa. and Mrs. Stanley King R. 2 Greenville, Mrs. Leroy Christensen of Greenville, Mrs. Howard Force of Muskegon, Mrs. Richard Simpson of Erie, Pa. Mrs. Gerald Harris of Greenville, and Miss Joyce Wilbur at home; one brother, Earl Wilbur of Sacramento, Calif. and one sister, Mrs. Bessie Darling of Portland, Mich. and 28 grandchildren. Funeral services were held Saturday at 2 o’clock at Ellis Chapel with Rev. H.S. Ellis officiating and burial was in Otisco cemetery.
