The Ionia Weekly Standard, Friday, July 4, 1890


Father Wilbur was buried from the church Monday afternoon.  On account of the 
rain many were detained at home, but the house was well filled.  Rev. George 
Riggs conducted the services.  Mr. Wilbur was an old pioneer, and had been a 
resident of this town over forty years.
