He was born in Stanton October 5, 1897 and lived in Ionia for 15 years until 1939 when he moved with his family to Ypsilanti. He was a member of the St. Johns Catholic church of Ypsilanti. Funeral services are to be held from the St. Johns church at Ypsilanti Wednesday morning at 9 o’clock and a graveside prayer will be at the Sheridan cemetery at 1 o’clock. He is survived by the widow, Leora; two daughters, Mrs. John Strader and Mrs. Dan Chadwick and a son, Max, all of Ypsilanti; one brother, Royal, of Ionia; and seven sisters, Mrs. Clarence Blumburg and Mrs. Lawrence Jones both of Greenville; Mrs. Fred Mulnix and Mrs. Jessie Greenhoe of Stanton; Mrs. Otto Newcomb, of Sheridan; Mrs. Tessie Gould and Mrs. James Ward of Vickeryville.
