Lake Odessa Wave-Thurs.November 29, 1951

RITES HELD SAT. FOR GEO. WILCOX
George Wilcox, 73, of Battle Creek a retired butcher, died Thanksgiving day 
after a two year illness and had been seriously ill since last July. He was 
former resident and while here was associated with his brother-in-law Bishop 
Haddix in the market.

Surviving are a daughter Mrs Harold (Gaytha) Raub of Battle Creek, two sisters, 
Mrs.B Haddix of Lake Odessa and Mrs William Stone of Detroit and one brother 
William of Tavares,Fla. His wife Cassie died seven years ago.

Funeral services were held Saturday with burial in Lakeside cemetery, Lake 
Odessa.
