Ionia Sentinel - 30 April 1988
Ralph V. Wilcutt, 64, of Ionia died Thursday at Ionia County Memorial 
Hospital.  He was married to Frances Hawes Oct. 13, 1949, in Northeast, Md.  He 
was a corrections officer at Michigan Reformatory for 20 years and was a member 
of Ionia Elks.  He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict.  He 
was a member of SS. Peter and Paul Church.

Surviving are his wife Frances; a daughter, Mrs. Harold (Sue) Grimes of 
Greenville; two sons, Jack Hughes of West Olive and Robert Wilcutt of Battle 
Creek; six grandchildren; one great grandson; one brother, Bud Wilcutt of 
Missouri; and a cousin, Juanita Sorrels of Benton Harbor. 

Funeral services will be at the Rich Street Chapel of Cook Funeral home Sunday 
from 7 to 8:30 pm.  Rosary will be recited at 8 pm Sunday at the funeral home.  
A memorial for the American Cancer Society, Ionia County Unit, has been 
established, in care of the funeral home.
