The Ionia Standard, Friday, August 9, 1889

Myron C. Wilder died Monday evening, aged 67 years, and was buried Wednesday.  
Funeral services at the North Plains church, conducted by Rev. F. N. Janes, 
Palo.  Mr. Wilder had lived 31 years on the place where he died.  He sold the 
place about four years ago to Wm. Howorth.  No place seemed so much like home, 
which accounts for his being there at the time of his death.  He leaves a 
son, “Mins,” and daughter, Mrs. Chas. Hamilton.
