Ionia Daily - 5 May 1941
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 pm from the residence and at 2:30 pm 
from the Palo Baptist church for Mrs. Charles Wilder who died Sunday morning at 
7 am at her home in Palo.  Mrs. Wilder was the wife of Charles Wilder who is a 
retired postmaster and has been ill for quite some time.

Ionia Daily - 9 May 1941

Funeral services were held Tuesday at 2:30 pm from the Palo Baptist Church for 
Mrs. Charles Wilder who died at her home in Palo Sunday morning.  Rev. Peter 
(unreadable) officiated and Mrs. George Tasker was in charge of the music.  She 
was born in Ionia, November 27, 1873.  Her maiden name was Blanche Wortman.  
After the death of her mother she made her home with Mr. and Mrs. Elma Kendall 
in Ronald.  August of 1892 she married Charles Wilder.

Surviving are the husband; one grandson, Robert Wilder of Mt. Clemens, and a 
sister Mrs. Robert McKim of Lansing.  One son, Fred, died several years ago.  
She had been in ill health for over a period of 20 years and had been seriously 
ill since last November.
