Mr. Wilder was telegraphed for Tuesday morning but did not reach here till Wednesday noon. Great was his utter despair to learn upon his arrival that his loving wife was dead. Mrs. Wilder though only 26 had always shown a remarkable christian spirit and her death was a noble example of true christian faith. When told she could not live she closed her eyes and said "I will meet you on the other shore. It is only a step between me and father." Her extreme anxiety to once more see her husband was very great but that could not be. The funeral will be held this Thursday afternoon at two o'clock. The little babe will be buried with its mother. Mrs. Sunderlin has the sympathy of all in her double affliction. Edson B. of Muskegon, and James of Rodney came here to attend the funeral of their only sister.
