The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Thursday, February 18, 1954

Funeral services for Elmer Wiles, 61, who died in the Ionia County Memorial 
hospital February 14, were conducted from the Myers funeral home Wednesday at 
2 o’clock.  The Rev. Eric Cash officiated.  Interment was in Easton cemetery.

Pallbearers were Judson Montgomery, Robert Montgomery, Roscoe Johnson, Gerald 
Noggle, Charles Strickling, and Ralph Randall.

Those who attended the services from out of town were Mr. and Mrs. Gerald 
Noggle of Pontiac, Mr. and Mrs. Roscoe Johnson of Sidney, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph 
Randall of Greenville, Mr. and Mrs. William Robinson and Mrs. Arthur Witters 
Jr. of Cadillac, John Stanky and Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Walaskay and daughters of 
Grand Rapids, John Walaskay of Pewamo, Mrs. Robert Cobel, Mrs. Lillian Speckin 
and daughter and Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Harrison of Lansing.
