Mrs. Wilkins, who had been in poor health for some time, left Portland about a month ago to spent the winter in the west. Before her death she requested that she be buried at Fort Collins and her remains were laid to rest in a cemetery in that city. Mrs. Wilkins was 75 years of age. She was born in New York state coming to this vicinity with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Stone, when a small girl. After the death of her first husband, Isaac Brooks, she was married to Silas B. Wilkins who died eight years ago. At the time of her marriage to Mr. Brooks he was the father of four children by a previous marriage. Those who survive are Mrs. H. M. Balmer, with whom she went to Ft. Collins, Willis Brooks also of that place, and Mrs. Ernest Buck, of Howey, Florida. A sister in Detroit and a brother in Montana also survive.
