Ionia Sentinel Standard – Friday, 30 November 1945

Mrs. Herbert Wilkins, formerly Adabelle Brickley, died early Thursday evening 
at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Sandusky, Ohio.  She is survived by her 
husband, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Brickley, and a sister, Lois, of 
Orange Township and a brother, William, in the Navy.

She was born in Orange Township, August 1, 1910, and was a graduate of the 
Ionia High School with the class of 1927.  After graduation she attended a 
diabetic school at Battle Creek for four years and was married to Herbert 
Wilkins, November 20, 1937.  She was employed previously in the Good Samaritan 
hospital as a dietitian.

Funeral service will be held at the home of her parents Monday at 2:30 o’clock 
with the Rev. Howard Fuller officiating.  Interment will be at the Portland 
cemetery.  Body will arrive Sunday at the home of her parents.
